Frequently Asked Questions

Is it easy to buy a framed print?

Sure, here are the steps…

1.       Find the image you like and click on the size you want.

2.       Next pick the type of paper you want the image printed on, and then add it to your “Cart.”

3.       As you view the “Cart” you will see “Frame it.” Click on “Frame it.”

4.       You can next click on the type of frame you want and see a close up of it with the image.

5.       It's best to have a mat, so click on “Frame and Mounting” and choose the color of mat and type of glass.

6.       Now it’s time to click “Done” and proceed to checkout. Your new piece of art will be shipped to you.

Should I order a frame?

My images are sized to digital proportions and unless you plan on having your artwork custom framed, it's best to order it matted, framed and with glass if it's larger than an 8X12. Digital sized frames are hard to find in brick and mortar stores. You will be given a choice of frames, mats and glass in "checkout view."

Are the prints "Named and Signed?"

No, not if you buy them off the site. If you want them "Named and Signed" you need to contact me and I will ship them.

Will the artwork print I order look like it does on my computer screen?

Remember all monitors are different and there may be some small color variations. Please contact me on a particular print if you have questions.

What type of paper should I choose?

E-Surface Paper is my most popular photographic paper. Accurate color, lifelike skin tones, archival quality and a traditional photo finish are just a few reasons why my customers love E-Surface Prints.

Fuji Pearl Paper uses a patented combination of film and laminate layers resulting in a striking metallic shine. It's ultra-bright backgrounds and smooth photo finish will give your artwork prints a deep look and last a lifetime.

You will be given a choice of paper in "checkout view."

What about prints on Aluminum?

High Definition Aluminum art prints give you a modern way to display your purchased art. The .45" thick aluminum photo panels have rounded corners and are coated with a gloss finish. Each panel includes a hanging wall mount on the back. Perfect for updating your home decor. I currently offer Aluminum Panels with two different base colors: "White" and "Clear." For the most accurate and vibrant color representation, choose a white base. If you desire a "Metal Effect" with a metallic reflection accenting the artwork, choose the clear base. Both are amazing and provide uniqueness to your wall print. Note that proper lighting is critical for the best display of this product.

What about Acrylic prints?

Acrylic Prints create a near 3-D effect and vibrancy in the colors that really pop! I use Acrylic + Metallic that enhances that 3-D effect and vibrancy a bit more because of the metallic paper option! Note: These Acrylics are only available as "Limited Edition" images from me, not off the site.

What about "Limited Editions?"

Limited Editions come as Archival Pigment Prints, or Aluminum wall panels, and Acrylic wall panels. They are signed and numbered. The Archival Pigment Prints are signed front and rear, so you can mat over the signature or keep it. Note: These are only available at shows or by contacting me at: [email protected]
